Learn to think with data.
Then prove you can.
OrionStats teaches data analytics from first principles — SQL, spreadsheets, Power BI, Tableau, Python, statistics and business analytics — through detailed lessons and realistic projects. Separately, three independent certifications test whether you can do the work.

Understanding first. Tools second. Decisions always.
Most courses teach buttons. Analysts are paid for judgement: knowing which number answers the question, whether it can be trusted, and what the business should do about it.
Every OrionStats lesson follows the same progression — understand → see it worked → apply → practise → evaluate → professional application → examination — and every SQL example in a lesson is executed against real practice databases, so the results you read are the results you will get.
Learn from absolute beginner to professional
- Structured pathway: course → module → subject → chapter → lesson
- Write and run real SQL against six relational practice databases
- Exercises with explanations, lesson quizzes, module exams
- Progress, bookmarks, weak-area detection and recommendations
Independent assessment of real capability
- Published blueprints, rubrics and passing rules
- Written exam with minimum scores in every domain
- Practical cases graded by OrionStats examiners
- Public verification with unique ID and QR code
Each level is a different job, not a longer exam
Data Analyst Associate
Junior analyst who can retrieve data with SQL, clean it, calculate correct KPIs, build a basic dashboard and explain the result.
Data Analyst Professional
Independent analyst who takes an unfamiliar requirement through cohorts, segmentation, statistics and an executive dashboard to costed recommendations.
Data Analytics Expert
End-to-end problem solver: feature engineering, XGBoost and time-series forecasting without leakage, a working Streamlit app — and a live technical defense.

Questions
Do I need any experience?+
No. Module 1 assumes no prior knowledge, and every lesson lists what you should know first. SQL and Python start from zero.
Does finishing the Academy give me a certificate?+
No. Certification is independent: you must pass the official written examination and an examiner-graded practical assessment for each level. Learning and certification are deliberately separate so that certificates mean something.
Which tools do I need?+
A browser is enough for SQL practice — every practice database runs inside OrionStats. For BI work you choose Power BI Desktop (free, Windows) or Tableau Public (free); for Python, a free local install or a notebook service.
Is OrionStats accredited?+
OrionStats certificates are independent professional credentials. They are not accredited by a government or third-party accreditation body, and we do not claim otherwise. What we publish instead is exactly how candidates are assessed: blueprints, rubrics and passing rules.
Will a certificate get me a job?+
No credential can promise that. A certificate shows employers verified evidence of specific skills — the decision to hire is theirs. Your portfolio of projects matters as much.
How do employers check a certificate?+
Every certificate has a unique ID and QR code linking to a public verification page that shows the holder's verified name, level, issue date and current status.
